Asbestos Sampling and Testing
Roof top sampling of suspect building materials by licensed inspectors and testing by a certified laboratory facility.
Various federal and state regulations require the proper identification, testing, abatement, and handling of asbestos containing materials that could potentially be disturbed during a construction project.
Our licensed NYS Asbestos Building Inspectors are able to perform diligent sampling of all suspect asbestos containing materials by taking small cores from the top of the membrane to the structural deck as well as samples of surface materials. We then identify, document, and package all suspect materials that require analysis and send them to a laboratory facility fully certified by New York State.
Once the laboratory analysis is complete, a summary report is complied and submitted with all of the official documentation included to be issued to the applicable municipal building code department for permitting.
